Join Membership
Join openEHR and support the work we do, enable us to do more, gain nomination and voting rights, as well as receive regular communication of developments.
Levels of membership and benefits are listed below.

- Individual Membership. Designed for individuals. Gives the right to nominate and vote for Individual Membership of the openEHR International Board. Right to nominate or be nominated as a member of Program Committees and right to vote in open meetings.
- Professional Membership. Enhanced level of individual membership for individuals who supply openEHR consulting, training or other expertise. In addition to Individual membership benefits, Professional Members are listed on the openEHR website. Can post openEHR-related news. May apply for openEHR educator provider recognition.
- Companies join as Industry Partners at a level based on the number of employees working in Health IT. Industry Partner benefits include listing on the openEHR website, can post industry news and events, and list their deployments. The right to nominate and vote to elect Industry Partner representation on the International Board. Partner employees can apply for openEHR educator provider recognition and/or be a member of a program committee. Clinical Model change requests may be prioritised over those from Individual or non-members.
- Organisational Membership is restricted to jurisdictional, academic, public sector organisations (such as ministries of health), research institutions and other non-profit organisations using openEHR. Organisational benefits as Industry Partners but up to 70% of fees paid may be directed specifically to the openEHR Clinical modelling program. An annual fee is payable at a banded level to be set by application. If interested please email comms@openehr.org for more details.
